Jim Reaper is a musician from Scotland.

Jim Reaper is an Edinburgh-based musician from Glasgow, Scotland. He has also been called a:

“Producer”

“Drummer”

“Recording Engineer”

“Creative”

“Cool Guy”

He currently works both in his home studio as well as in Studio One at Edinburgh Napier University.

Jim Reaper's mission is to create really cool art, pursuing this both a solo practitioner and an enthusiastic collaborator. He believes in the intersection between humanity and modernity in art, fusing influences from emo, vaporwave, post-hardcore, ambient, synth-pop, alternative metal and pop-punk. He believes in the power of reflective nostalgia as a tool for the furthering of art without the fascistic bent so-often ascribed to it.

Jim Reaper is also the drummer for world-famous Glasgow band One Nine Eight, as well as for Edinburgh-based function band Amethyst. He is currently in the process of creating his own solo project.
